The Armenian Relief Society of Western USA, Regional JAVAKHK FUND Committee requests your participation for the upcoming fundraising event in support of ARS programs in Javakhk.

The fifth annual Gala Dinner-Reception is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2009. This year the event will be held aboard the luxurious yacht Electra "Crystal/Eternity" departing from the city of Newport Beach in Orange County.

Participants will enjoy cruising the harbor as they dine, with a gourmet chef on board. Lenten food will also be served. We have planned a delightful musical performance as entertainment. Art pieces and boutique items will be available for purchase.

The Committee will relay our past years accomplishments and give eye witness accounts regarding our commitments in Javakhk.

The guest keynote speaker is Mr. John Kossakian, ARF Western Region Central Committee member and Principal of Ferrahian Armenian High School, who will introduce the current dire socio-economic and political challenges in the Armenian region of Javakhk.
